When asked what is being done to have the Orthodox Church of Ukraine recognized by the rest of the Churches in the world, Metropolitan Epifaniy replied: "We are doing a lot in this direction, but unofficially. Because the enemy works on all fronts. And on the external front, the enemy is quite active. We see this. That is, they work in other local Orthodox Churches so that they do not recognize our autocephalous status. But through the Ecumenical Patriarch, as prescribed in the Tomos, we have connections with the entire Orthodox world. And now it depends to some extent on diplomacy. We are working in this direction, and I am convinced that soon there will be recognition by several local Churches. But we do not announce our plan of action so that the enemy does not hinder us," said the Primate of the OCU.

He expressed hope that several local Orthodox Churches worldwide will make such decisions at once. Currently, the Orthodox world is also closely monitoring the events taking place in Ukraine.

"The processes with us, from a church point of view, are positive. Because the Orthodox Church of Ukraine is the largest, gradually growing, expanding, and consolidating. The main thing is that there is support from the people, there is support from our Orthodox Ukrainians. Therefore, this is important, and in the future, we will gradually receive recognition from other local Orthodox Churches and all the necessary things that we need for development and consolidation," added Metropolitan Epifaniy.
