On March 3, Archbishop and Metropolitan of Ivano-Frankivsk Volodymyr Viytyshyn met with the Archdiocesan Anti-Crisis Center volunteers.

"War is a great tragedy. We all need to survive together. We are not as scared as we think, but the East is really at war. We have to stand up for ourselves, our children, and our great-grandchildren. And we can do so only when united. We are a strong home front. The army becomes more powerful when the warrior is fed, has the medicine and appropriate clothing. At this time, everyone has to do what they do best."

The metropolitan noted that the military should also be in their places: "Today the military registration and enlistment offices are overcrowded, taking those who are really prepared. Thank God that our leadership saves the lives of our people, men and youth. "

The bishop thanked all the volunteers, curia staff and seminarians who work tirelessly at the Archdiocesan Anti-Crisis Center and encouraged everyone. "Thanks to your work, people were not left hungry in Mariupol. So I want to invite you to work together, work even harder. Those who deem themself Ukrainian have a sacred duty to stand together."

The bishop addressed those present, saying that the entire world has stood up for Ukraine, adding: "Now we have great support that will help us win and help Ukraine join the European Union soon."

"I urge you to understand that this is a difficult but necessary step," the bishop continued. "We are doing everything we can. We treat each other like brothers, and this is our invincible strength."

At the end of the meeting, everyone prayed for peace in Ukraine and sang "God Great One."
