Officials of the Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine have been declared wanted in Russia due to criminal prosecution against the head of the Russian Orthodox Church.

This was reported in a post by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, according to Slovo i Dilo.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation ordered the search for officials of the Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine due to the criminal prosecution of Patriarch Kirill Gundyaev.

As part of the case, measures are being taken by Russians to search for employees of the Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine who made the decision for the criminal prosecution of Patriarch Kirill.

"As part of the investigation by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation under Article 299 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for the illegal involvement of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill in criminal responsibility, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation A.I. Bastrykin instructed to take measures to search for specific officials of the Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine who made an illegal decision regarding his criminal prosecution," the post reads.

As reported, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Gundyaev, was issued a suspicion of aiding armed aggression by the Russian Federation.
