At the beginning of December, a group of MPs from various factions registered a draft law regarding the protection of the rights of military personnel and police officers for social security.

This was reported by LB.ua.

On December 11, the draft was refined in the Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Its representatives promise that the parliament will vote on the document in the first reading by the end of the year to potentially pass it as a basis in January.
The legislators aim to prohibit military personnel from disseminating information on social networks that could help the enemy determine specific locations or adjust their fire.

They propose to streamline the grounds for dismissal from military service, particularly for contract soldiers. Simultaneously, they suggest providing additional grounds for release to care for a sick child up to 14 years old.

Military personnel who are injured or ill will receive additional leave.

Chaplains will not be those who belong to a religious organization (association) recognized by Article 12 of the Law of Ukraine, "On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations", as part of a structure with its headquarters located in the aggressor state.
