Metropolitan Volodymyr is suffering internal hemorrhage
On June 22 Metropolitan Oleksandr (Drabynko) of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyy and Vyshneve, UOC- MP asked all those indifferent to pray for His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr, who is suffering internal hemorrage.
"In His Beatitude Volodymyr is suffering internal hemorrhage. So on my personal initiative I am urging everyone to pray for him. But in the context of modern medicine this is not critical", says His Eminence Oleksandr (Drabynko), according to NBN.
According to him, the primate is given all possible assistance. There is no danger to his life.
Earlier the UOC (MP) representatives described the pressure exerted by former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, former Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka, former Interior Minister Vitaily Zakharchenko and other former senior officials on Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine to remove him from governance of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate).
