Patriarch Kirill has thanked Metropolitan Volodymyr for the hospitality during his visit to Ukraine in July.

"I sincerely thank you, fellow bishops, clergy and parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church for the warm and cordial welcome in the God-saved city of Kyiv. The prayer and communion with you, with the Ukrainian archpastors and pastors and pious laity left the lightsome impression in my heart. Of special importance for me was our last long conversation, during which we managed to discuss in a spirit of brotherly love the most significant issues of the church life," Patriarch Kirill wrote in his official letter.

He also thanked for the hospitality with which the Ukrainian Orthodox Church received Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.
