Dear compatriots!
In 2010 we celebrate the 65th anniversary of victory over the German fascist invaders. Every year there are fewer participants in these events of people who survived the difficult years of the defence of our Motherland from fascist invasion.
For a part of the frontline soldiers the 65th anniversary of liberation from the Nazi will probably become the last since the majority of those still living are the children of war. Therefore, it is important to do everything possible in order for this date to remaine memorable for a long time and enter into history.
Dear veterans!
On the 65th anniversary of the victory over the German fascist invaders, I wish you God's assistance and peace in your souls. In spite of all political and material problems everyone is faced with today, know that the Lord will highly appreciate your activity for the benefit of the society. On behalf of the military clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, I express to you gratitude for the feat of arms you took upon yourselves for the benefit of future generations.
