In the village of Holyn (Carpathians), during the Christmastide, the parishioners of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church raised money for 10 drones, five of which have already been handed over to the defenders.

This was reported on Facebook by the rector of the Church of the Protection of the Holy Virgin, Father Anatoliy Kozak.

"Thank you to the parishioners of the village of Holyn UGCC! Five drones have already been purchased and handed over to the defenders upon the request of our soldiers. Three other drones are already on the way, and we are ordering two more. I recall that the drones were purchased with caroled funds," Father Anatoliy noted.

According to the information from the UGCC Archeparchy of Ivano-Frankivsk, during the Christmastide, the residents of the village of Holyn raised almost half a million hryvnias. The largest donation amounted to 32,300 hryvnias.

"During the Christmastide, the residents of the largest village in the Kalush community raised 482,600 hryvnias, 200 zlotys, and 50 euros. One part of the funds was directed to the purchase of combat drones, and the other - to the restoration of the ancient church," the Archeparchy reported.
