SBU exposed unrest coordinators and UOC-MP supporters
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) exposed a coordinator of disturbances near the monastery and a supporter of the UOC-MP who dreamt of receiving a passport from Putin.
These individuals labeled Russia's armed aggression as an "internal civil conflict" in Ukraine, discredited Ukrainian soldiers, and fanned religious animosity. They utilized their personal accounts on social media and popular messaging apps to conduct subversive activities for the occupiers.
In Kyiv, a 42-year-old associate coordinating mass disturbances near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was exposed. During these events earlier this year, she encouraged resistance against law enforcement's legitimate actions. Investigations found that she propagated hostile agitation through her Facebook and Telegram accounts, with an audience of nearly 5,000 subscribers.
In the Kyiv region, the unlawful activities of a resident of Boyarka were documented. He propagated narratives promoted by the Kremlin about the "unified Moscow Church" in Ukraine, aiming to disrupt the internal political situation in the capital region. He managed his pages on Facebook, Telegram, Viber, as well as on banned platforms "Odnoklassniki" and "VKontakte", with an audience of 5,000 users.
Moreover, as the full-scale invasion by Russia began, one offender submitted an application to the "Presidential Office of Russia for Citizen and Organizational Appeals" to obtain citizenship from the aggressor country.
In Kharkiv, the criminal activity of a 47-year-old local resident was halted. She shared fake stories on social media, portraying a Russian "war correspondent," Alexander Sladkov, regarding the war in Ukraine. Additionally, during the battles for Mariupol, she disseminated a fabricated video by occupiers aiming to discredit the defenders of "Azovstal."
