24 members from Sand Springs Baptist Church, Thrive Community Church and Old Bethel Baptist Church of Canton travelled to Ukraine to conduct eight Vacation Bible School (VBS) camps, four youth camps with softball activities and one adult VBS.

The group expects to work with over 400 children, youth and adults during the week-long camps.

Sand Springs Baptist Church became involved in the Ukraine ministry under the direction of Jack Mills of the Jack Mills Evangelistic Association. Team members from SSBC have continued to travel to Ukraine to minister to children and adults.

The area that Mills worked in is now under Russian occupation, and their team can no longer go into those areas.

The location of this ministry has moved to Zdorivka, a village just outside of Kyiv.

Our group has grown from working in one village to six villages to continue this ministry. Plans are to continue to add teams each summer and expand into additional villages.
