Zaporizhzhia Muslims Feed Homeless Along With Red Cross

This was the first joint charity event of Zaporizhzhia Muslims with the local branch of Red Cross.

“Any good deed is a charity (Saaqah)” — that very quote of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) was printed on the vest of every volunteer from Zaporizhzhia Islamic Cultural Centre “Vira” and Women’s Organisation “Safya” when they distributed hot meals among the homeless, along with the Red Cross volunteers.

Meals of hot pilaw, salad, bread and cookies were given to over 5 dozen people, for whom that was a rare opportunity to have a normal meal.
