The meeting of Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill of Moscow will be translated by Lithuanian priest Visvaldas Kulbokas, Ukrainian News reported, citing BNS (Baltic News Service).

The priest works in the Vatican diplomacy service and has extensive translation experience. In particular, previously he translated the conversation of Pope Francis with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As reported, the meeting of Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill of Moscow is scheduled for February 12 and will be held in Cuba.

The head of the Roman Catholic Church will stop during his pilgrimage to Mexico, while the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church will make a visit to the country. Private conversation will end with the signing of a joint declaration.

This is the first ever meeting between the two heads of Churches. At the meeting they intend to discuss religious issues as well as the issues related to the political situation in the world.
