UGCC bishop Andriy Rabiy attends the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Philadelphia

Iryna Mazur, a public figure, professional lawyer, member of the Board of Directors of Razom for Ukraine, and Vice-President of the Ukrainian Federation of America became the honorary Consul of Ukraine in Philadelphia.

Ukraine has opened its honorary Consulate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of the largest cities on the Eastern coast of the United States. This is reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States.

"Symbolically, on the day of Unity, Ukraine opened its Honorary Consulate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of the largest cities on the East coast of the United States," the report said.

The official ceremony was held by the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States, Volodymyr Yelchenko, together with the Consul General of Ukraine in New York, Oleksiy Golubov.

Iryna Mazur, a public figure, professional lawyer, member of the Board of Directors of Razom for Ukraine, and Vice-President of the Ukrainian Federation of America became the honorary Consul of Ukraine in Philadelphia.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the Ukrainian community of America, Congresswoman Madeline Dean, former Congressman Jim Gerlach, and the head of the consular corps of Philadelphia Peter Longstreth, UGCC Bishop Andriy Rabiy, and President of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) Morgan Williams.
