The President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Andy Hunder believes that the Metropolitan of Philadelphia Borys Gudziak will be a powerful voice of Ukrainians in the United States of America.

He wrote this in the Ukrayinska Pravda.

"Gudziak will faithfully represent the Church and Ukrainians. This will only benefit Ukraine. As an extremely charismatic graduate of Harvard University, Borys Gudziak will be able to quickly gain the support of senior officials in the United States," said Hunder.

"He comes to America at the time of mixed ideas about Ukraine. The White House, the State Department and Congress are eager to understand what kind of future Ukraine may face with the new President and Parliament at the end of this year. Both American and Ukrainian politicians will pay close attention and make critical decisions on foreign policy. With the appointment of Gudziak as Archbishop, the new team responsible for the foreign policy of Ukraine, the Diaspora and politicians could take advantage of his advice and voice. American officials will also benefit greatly if they listen to Bishop Borys," the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine added.

As it was reported by RISU, on June 4, 2019, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia, PA the official ceremony of the enthronement of the new Archbishop Metropolitan of Philadelphia of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Borys Gudziak, was held. His Eminence Borys became the seventh Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Philadelphia Metropolia (Archeparchy) of the UGCC.
