On Saturday, February 21, 2015, at about 9:00 in the Monastery after the Divine Liturgy (beginning of Liturgy at 7:40) a memorial service for the repose of the souls of those killed in the Revolution of Dignity is to be celebrated. Memorial service will be headed by His Holiness Patriarch Filaret.

St. Michael's monastery became a refuge for battered peaceful protesters on November 30, 2013 and in the difficult days of February 2014. In the monastery’s  churches the resting places, warehouses and even operation wards for Maidan participants were organized, the press center of the Kyiv Patriarchate reports.

Funeral liturgy for the souls of the patriots killed on Maidan will also take place in churches of the UGCC.
