Ukrainians Remember Victims of Genocide of 1932-1933

Today, November 24 is the day of remembrance of the victims of the Holodomor genocide. Ukrainians pray for their souls in churches, burial places, memorials and in their homes.

The international community recognized the Holodomor as a genocide thanks to the resolution of the Ukrainian court in this regard which was recognized in 143 countries of the world.

Traditionally, Ukrainians conduct a national event “Light a candle of memory for the victims of Holodomor” at 4 pm.
