Roman Catholics in Ukraine Called to Pray for Victims of Holodomor

On occasion of the remembrance of the Genocidal Holodomor of 1932-1933 on 24 November, the Head of the Conference of Roman Catholic Bishops of Ukraine addressed Roman Catholics with a call to pray for the victims of Holodomor.

“I urge you and God’s flock entrusted to your care to pray on that day for the people who died of hunger and for those who created the Holodomor Genocide of 1932-1933 according to their distorted ideology and to ask for God’s mercy for them,” says, in particular, the address posted by the web site of the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) in Ukraine.
