The representative office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea noted that they are doing everything possible to ensure that the Crimean Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine continues to exist on the Russian-occupied Peninsula, Telegraph reports.

This was announced by the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korynevych after the action of solidarity with the Ukrainian Crimea, which took place in Kyiv.

Speaking about the problems in the occupied Crimea, Korynevych reminded that the Crimean Diocese of the OCU, which operates on the peninsula under the leadership of Archbishop Klyment, constantly faces pressure on the part of the occupation authorities.

"The Crimean Diocese of OCU is the key Ukrainian cell in Crimea, and the occupying state grossly violates its rights ... For our part, we, like all the bodies that work in Ukraine in the Crimea, are doing everything possible to ensure that the Crimean Diocese of the OCU continues to exist and work in Crimea," he stressed.
