Cabinet of Ministers grants UOC-MP Monastery in Donetsk Oblast permit for land allocation

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved an instruction for permission to develop a land development project regarding a land plot allocation. The women’s Monastery of the Iverska Icon of the Mother of God of the Donetsk Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate was granted permission to develop a project of land development regarding the allocation of a land plot of 0.932 hectares.

According to www.imk.ua, in future it is planned to pass the land plot into the permanent use of a monastery complex.

“According to Articles 92, 123 and 149 of the Land Code of Ukraine, to permit the women’s Iverska Icon of the Mother of God Monastery of the Donetsk Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate to conduct land development in compliance with the requirements of state standards, norms and rules of land development under the project of land development regarding the allocation of a land plot of 0.932 hectares outside centers of population in the Yasynuvatskyi District of Donetsk Region and further passing thereof into permanent use of a monastery complex,” reads the resolution of the cabinet.
