On January 7 Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will visit the Ternopil Oblast, the head of the regional state administration, Valentyn Khoptian, said today at the session of the regional council today, reports UNIAN.

“Please, release me from the plenary session because the president is going to visit us on January 7. We will meet him together with the head of the regional council. And now I have to go to the Kremenets District to develop the program for the visit,” said Khoptian.
According to preliminary information, Yanukovych plans to visit the Pochayiv Monastery on January 7 and attend the Christmas service.
