On the basis of the Pentecostal Evangelical Theological Seminary in Kyiv, where on September 14-16, 2017 the missionaries will be trained, a pilot shortened course will be conducted to train coordinators under the Program for the Establishment of New Churches specifically for senior presbyters and bishops of fraternity, according to "Religion in Ukraine" with reference On the site of Pentecostal Ukraine.

According to Viktor Voznyuk, head of the education department, the purpose of the new program is to provide additional knowledge to missionaries who already have theological education. “This is a peculiar training course for service coordinators. The training will last from three to four weeks and will include a range of disciplines. In particular, such as missiology, sociological analysis of localities, methods of opening new churches, the art of communication, working with authorities, writing letters and projects, and also the creation of a team, the structure of missionary centers, legal literacy, correct PR, evangelization in social networks, work with computer programs, financial literacy, Victor Volodymyrovych explains.

The functions and capabilities of a trained coordinator for the establishment of new churches will be somewhat wider than of a usual missionary leader. In particular, he will have the opportunity to independently recruit a team (previously, in the majority of cases, they hired the staff provided by missionary schools). In addition, the coordinators will work through the newly established local outlets on the basis of divisions of the missionary department of the fellowship. This will make it possible to better monitor the situation in the area of opening new churches and obtain another platform for communication and exchange of experiences.

“Ideally, each missionary outlet should have their own trained coordinator. But at the initial stage, we would like to train such employees for each region,” commented Victor Voznyuk.
