The “School of the Future” that was launched by the Adventists of Odessa, held an Open House Day. The meeting was attended by mothers and relatives of children who were told about the school and about the teaching methods, “Religion in Ukraine” reports citing the Seventh-day Adventist website.

Parents raised the question about the essence of Christian education and Protestantism in general. Since September 1, six first-graders have been studying at the school (also the seventh and eighth grades were opened).

The school was advertised in the densely populated Raiduzhnyy residential area, where the school is renting a premise. In this area there are about 10 thousand people, besides the adjoining schools are full.

Now it is planned to rent a large room, since there is a need to open the third, fourth and sixth grades. While there is no room and the teaching staff is not numerous, “School of the Future” has joined remotely the state school.

The fourth Adventist community in Odessa is building a church, in which the ground floor will host the elementary school. But the school leadership is seeking for an opportunity to build a large school that would accommodate all children.
