    One of the largest synagogues in Europe opens in Drohobych

    On June 17, the restored choral synagogue, built in the middle of the XIX century, was opened in the city of Drohobych (Lviv region), the event was attended by city residents. Drohobych Choral Synagogue is one of the largest in Eastern Europe.

    Seminar on inter-confessional relations of the Muslim community held in Vinnytsia

    Round table "Inter-confessional relations: focus on the issues of the Muslim community" was held in Vinnytsia on June 8.     Russia restricts religious freedom in Crimea

    Russian repressive laws have “significantly reduced religious freedom” in the annexed Crimea, in particular, Russia has refused to register the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate on the peninsula.
