Archbishop Ihor Isichenko Presented New Textbook on Ukrainian Literature

The Kharkiv Literary Museum on 7 December held a meeting with Archbishop Ihor (Isichenko) with the readers of his new textbook “History of Ukrainian Literature: the age of Baroque (17-18th cc.)"

100_2270.JPGThe Kharkiv Literary Museum on 7 December held a meeting with Archbishop Ihor (Isichenko) with the readers of his new textbook “History of Ukrainian Literature: the age of Baroque (17-18th cc.)", which has been recently published by the Lviv Publishing house Sviatohorets, reported the web site of the Kharkiv-Poltava Eparchy of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (UAOC).  

Professor Leonid Ushkalov, who presented the book, noticed its originality and ability to change the view of the students and readers on the Ukrainian culture of the 17-18th cc.   The archbishop’s disciples, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Olena Matushek (Kharkiv V. Karazin National University), Candidate of Philological Sciences, Tetiana Levchenko-Komisarenko (Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations Kharkiv Collegium)   shared their ideas about the book.
