Jubilee Children's Christmas Celebration Event Held at National Opera House

On January 7, at the National Opera House of Ukraine in Kyiv, a children’s charitable festival “Nativity Play-2013” was held. The event was attended by children from orphanages and boarding schools of Kyiv and the region, reported the website of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP).

This is a traditional children’s festival which has been held annually for ten years under the patronage of the head of the UOC-MP, Metropolitan Volodymyr.

The event was organized by the Synodal Department of UOC-MP on Matters of Youth with the support of a Ukrainian deputy, Andrii Derkach.
