The secretary of Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany, Hegumen Danylo (Irbits), wrote the words for a song which may be performed at Eurovision 2011, reported Fr. Danylo to a correspondent of Interfax-religion.ru.

The song is called "My Hope." Its music was written by the composer Oleh Popkov. It will be performed by the Ukrainian singer El Kravchuk. According to the report, the words of the song are called to instill hope in the hearts of the listeners. A promo of the song is available on the Internet.

Thirty-five best performers made it into the final of the national Ukrainian selection. In the middle of October, their songs and clips will be broadcasted on TV and radio. The winner who is to represent Ukraine at the competition will be announced in the middle of February.
