On August 7 a delegation of Germans will take part in Life March – a Ukrainian event to commemorate civilians killed in Rivne during World War II. The group will come to pray and to ask for forgiveness for all the evil Ukrainians endured during the war. As reported ZIK, priests of all  denominations will take part in this event.

The organizers expect many Rivne residents to attend in this joint prayer and repentance for all the suffering during WWII.

Pivne is a city in Polesie (Polissya) – the territory where the guerrilla movement (Soviet and Ukrainian national) was most active during WWII. Civilians who cooperated with guerrillas were persecuted and killed by Nazis.
