Following the five years’ preparation, on October 1, Dragomanov National Pedagogical University in Kyiv hosted a presentation of the first coherent commentary on the canonical books of the Bible entitled “Slavic Biblical Commentary. Modern biblical perspective.”

Finnish, Vietnamese, Korean, Roma, Karakalpak, and even Esperanto – these are just a few of the languages in which religious texts are available in Peresopnytsia. The local museum has assembled a unique collection of the Holy Scriptures’ translations, including 50 items as of now.

The fourth working meeting of the editorial board of Bible Commentary: The Modern Evangelical Perspective was held in Jerusalem’s AMI Center for Biblical Study and Research on February 7-18, 2012. This meeting ended a nearly two-year period of writing the bible commentary.

The regional state administration of the central Ukrainian city of Khmelnytskyi supported a proposal of the scholars to rename the Peresopnytsia Gospel into Dviretsko-Peresopnytsia Gospel.

The Jury of the National Competition "Best Book of Ukraine" founded by the State Committee of TV and Radio Broadcast of Ukraine unanimously awarded the grand prix to the folio Peresopnytsia Gospel, Origin and the Present, which was published by ADEF-Ukraine Publishers.

Leaders of a number of public organizations of the Rivne Oblast approached Ukraine’s President, Viktor Yanukovych, with a request to prevent priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate from consecrating the events marking the 450th anniversary of the Peresopnytsia Gospel.

The opening ceremony of the 14th national congress of young Ukrainian evangelical Christians took place on July 6, 2011, in the Zhytomyr Oblast. Traditionally, 3 to 6 thousand Christians from all regions of Ukraine gather at the youth forum. This year there are delegates from Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Poland, Germany, USA, and other countries.
On June 12, as part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Ukrainian Bible Society (UBS), a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the opening of the Ukrainian Bible House in Kyiv. Attending the event were the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn, minister of culture Mykhailo Kulyniak, the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration Leonid Novokhatko, national deputies of Ukraine, representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, and representatives of 16 denominations that belong to the UBS.
