| Recognition by Greek Church and "domino effect"
A few days ago, the Church media were glued to the monitors, waiting for the long-awaited decision of the Synod of the Greek Church to appear. It concerned the recognition of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Although ten days ago, no one was particularly waiting for crucial decisions at the August session. Everyone is waiting for October -- it is then that the Synod of the Hierarchy (Council of Bishops in our terminology) will take place in accordance with the Charter of the Orthodox Church of Greece. The meeting of all the bishops, and they are now more than 140 in the Church of Greece, is still a more presentable event than the usual Synod of 12 Metropolitans. It is the Synod of Hierarchy, as a more representative body, that must decide on recognition of the OCU.

Constantinople does not recognize the transfer of the canonical Kyiv Metropolis to the Moscow patriarchate
Constantinople has never recognized Moscow's church authority over Ukraine, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew said during the 40th Day after death memorial service for Metropolitan Evangelos of Perga on 1 July.The head of the information department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate, Archbishop Yevstratiy (Zorya), published this message of the Ecumenical Patriarchate's press service on Facebook, reports LB.ua.
"Let us not forget, at any rate, that Constantinople never denounced the territory of Ukraine in any way but the right of ordination of the Metropolitan of Kyiv in Moscow on condition of being elected in Kyiv at the Clerical Assembly and mentioning the Ecumenical Patriarch. This is said in the Tomos on autocephaly that the Mother Church gave the Polish Church: our See has never recognized the secession of the Kyiv Metropolis and its dependent Orthodox Churches of Lithuania and Poland and their attachment to the Moscow Church, which was carried not in accordance with ordinances and without respecting the rights of the Kyiv Metropolitan who had the title of an Exarch of the Ecumenical See," Patriarch Bartholomew said.
He said that the Ecumenical See was looking forward to "the restoration of the unity of the divided ecclesiastical body in Ukraine – dozens of millions of believers, baptized and enlightened by the direct care and missionary activities of the Ecumenical See."
" Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew expressed his unwavering interest in the treatment of the Ukrainian ecclesiastical issue and the restoration of the unity of the divided ecclesiastical body in the country. He recalled that the Church of Constantinople, which worked and solved difficult ecclesiastical issues, always in the light of the benefit of the people of God and the preservation of the Pan-Orthodox unity, is still struggling to definitively settle ecclesiastical issues in Ukraine," the message reads.

Не надо "исправлять" историю. Можно дойти до полнейшего безумия. Москва может напомнить Константинополю, как после революции 1917 года тот поддерживал обновленцев в СССР. Что после поражения Турции в Первой Мировой на Фанаре была сплошная чехарда с патриархами. Что после Флорентийской Унии все патриархи были униатами. Что византийский Константинополь это не турецкий Стамбул. Можно выставить счёт татарам или монголам за разорение Киева и его последующий упадок.
Що патр. Тихон вітав вбивство митрополита в Польщі, який захотів вийти з-під його влади. Що сучасну РПЦ створив Сталін у 1943 для того, щоби боротися зі всіма іншими конфесіями. Що Київ розграбували прародичі Маскфи, які потім стали представниками Орди і грабували-винищували всі міста, які не хотіли Москві коритися. Що Флорентійська унія - це була спроба відновити єдність у тому стані, який був до конфлікту 1054 р., але туркофіли і кацапи її пробували зірвати. Що Міша, накидати ще правди про вашу кацапську братію?
