Molytva.jpgLVIV – As reports the Information Department of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), the Commission on Matters of Youth of the Lviv Archeparchy of the UGCC is organizing a Week of Prayer for Ukraine.

Every day at 8 p.m. from May 24 to May 30 on Svobody Prospect, near the monument of Taras Shevchenko, a public prayer to the Holy Mother of God, along with prayers of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky for the Ukrainian nation and about God’s Wisdom, will be said.

Anyone who wishes to and who is not indifferent may join. The youth are taking the leading role in organizing the event, which will confirm the undeniable truth that the truthful values of people take root in spirituality. The month of May in church tradition is a time devoted to the Holy Mother of God, and prayers for the nation and about God’s Wisdom will show the Ukrainian-Christians interest in the fate of their nation and its development.
