Forty-eight deputies of the Lviv City Council voted for the allocation of a land plot for the construction of a residential and office center at 4a Ozarkevycha Street near St. George's Cathedral in Lviv to Real Estate Development Ltd, Lviv Portal has reported.

According to the Director of Real Estate Development Ltd, M. Dmukh, a 4-6 storied building will be erected there. The ground floor (approximately 400 square meters) is to be transferred by the company to the use of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

In view of the fact that local residents criticized the project, the deputies heard both sides’ representatives before passing the decision.
