With that, compared to 2016, the percentage of Orthodox and Protestants did not change — it was 65.4% and 1.9%, respectively, but the percentage of Greek Catholics (was 6.5%), as well as Roman Catholics (was 1%), increased significantly.

That said, only in the West, the percentage of the faithful of the OCU is more than that of "Just Orthodox" - 18,6% and 12,3% respectively. In the Center, in the South and in the East, the number of those who call themselves "Just Orthodox" is significantly higher - 34.2%, 36.5% and 37.7%, respectively.

Among the confessionally identified Orthodox in the Center of Ukraine, the faithful of the OCU prevail (17.8%), the faithful of the UOC- MP consitute 8.7%, and those who identify themselves as the UOC-KP are 9.6%. However, if the faithful of the OCU and the UOC-KP are counted together in the South, their number will be higher than that of the faithful of the UOC-MP, that is, 17% and 10.8%, respectively.
