According to a poll conducted by the Razumkov Center in March 2013, only 18.7% of Ukrainians know about the doctrine of the “Russian World” of Patriarch Kirill. In the last three years, their number has increased only by 1.5%.

This doctrine is better known by those who are opoosed to it: 28.5% – the faithful of the Kyivan Patriarchate, and 35.1% – Greek Catholics. Geographically, it is known the most in the west – 36.3%, and least known in the east – 12.9%.

In the west, the doctrine is associated with the restoration of the Russian Empire and in the south with the unification of brotherly peoples.
