| Recognition by Greek Church and "domino effect"
A few days ago, the Church media were glued to the monitors, waiting for the long-awaited decision of the Synod of the Greek Church to appear. It concerned the recognition of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Although ten days ago, no one was particularly waiting for crucial decisions at the August session. Everyone is waiting for October -- it is then that the Synod of the Hierarchy (Council of Bishops in our terminology) will take place in accordance with the Charter of the Orthodox Church of Greece. The meeting of all the bishops, and they are now more than 140 in the Church of Greece, is still a more presentable event than the usual Synod of 12 Metropolitans. It is the Synod of Hierarchy, as a more representative body, that must decide on recognition of the OCU.

Official Website of UGCC Hit by DDoS Attacks from Russia
The spokesman for the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), Fr. Ihor Yatsiv, announced that the official website of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church was hit by DDoS attacks. The priest said ironically that the church has thus received another “honor” from its adversaries. Fr. Ihor Yatsiv wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“We have received yet another ‘honor.’ The resources of the UGCC have been hit by DDoS attacks. Our sites are not available. There were 6,000 concurrent external communications requests,” he said.
In a comment to RISU, the priest said that the first attack on the site took place last night from six locations with one thousand external communications requests from each one. Then the UGCC IT staff set up protection so that no more than 50 requests came from one location. And the site started working again.
But during the night the attacks resumed – they occurred from a much larger number of locations. And this morning DDoS attacks exceeded the evening attacks by ten times and at 10:00 the main web portal of the UGCC was again unavailable. All attacks, as reported in the UGCC Department of Information come from Rostelecom – the national telecommunications company in Russia.
Recall that on Christmas Eve, January 6, the Greek Catholic leadership received an official letter from the Ministry of Culture, which warned the church of dissolution if it continued to maintain a presence on the Maidan.
In response to the letter, Patriarch Sviatoslav Shevchuk said that the church is not part of the political process, but it “cannot stand by when its faithful ask for spiritual care,” and therefore it is present on the Maidan.

Найкраща для цієї влади та церква якій напхали повний рот грошей! Тому Коваленко спромігся на кілька слів.
Начнем с того, что толпа мятежников на майдане - далеко не весь народ. Главное же то, что Писание однозначно говорит о том, как следует относиться к власти. Причем "качество" власти при этом не оговаривается. Тысячелетиями Бог показывает, что ропот и бунт против Господа и Его ставленников не есть хорошо. Вернее, - совсем нехорошо! Но цикл "дай нам царя... - нет, он плохой, дай нам другого" повторяется с тупым упорством от Саула до наших дней... 1 Цар.8:17-18 …и сами вы будете ему рабами; и восстенаете тогда от царя вашего, которого вы избрали себе; и не будет Господь отвечать вам тогда. Велико долготерпение Божие такими народами и их слепыми вождями, называющими себя служителями ... Которые вместо того, что бы "заграждать уста невежеству безумных людей", поддерживают их в противлении Богу. Опомнитесь, люди, прислушайтесь к Божьему гласу, будьте послушны Ему, а не лицемерным лжесловесникам, популярным на майданах!
Ну звичайно- коли Московський патріархат закликає до...в Авганістані, в Грузії і т.д.- то це "святе" А Тут Церква(не лише грекокатолицька а і протестанти і римокатолики і православні Київського патріархату ) просто моляться з иайданом- то це вже-....А Гузар- то прочити треба уважно- Дійсно-заклику не було.

Слава Богу, Церква перестала відсиджуватись, проповідуючи що народ то раби, які мають тягнути на собі антинародну владу. Слава Богу за УГКЦ.
Типово провокаторська звичка брехати - де владика Гузар закликає до повстання? Він каже: "Я имею право защищать себя и своих ближних. Как каждый человек. И имею право отвечать такими средствами, которыми на меня нападают. За оружие можно браться, когда оружие будет обращено против тебя". То що, треба вічно стояти і радіти тому, як тебе дубасить до смерті бидло в уніформі беркуту чи міліції? ой як би хотілося бачити, що ви б робили у тій ситуації, коли б вас так били?
