The Orthodox Church of Ukraine is set to appeal against the ruling of the District Administrative Court of Kyiv (DAC) that bans any actions related to disposal and management of the property of the Kyiv Patriarchy of the UOC-KP before the decision in the action concerning the liquidation of the UOC-KP enters in force.

Archbishop Yevstratiy (Zoria) is reported as saying this by Gordon during live broadcast of Oboz TV onSeptember 5.
According to him, the decision will be appealed against, “so it did not create obstacles [to the Chairman of the Commission for Liquidation of the UOC-KP] Metropolitan Ioan of Cherkassy in his performance of duties entrusted to him by the Holy Synod.”
“The very fact of making such a decision is quite strange. The persons concerned had filed a motion to the court three times in this case, and three times the court had refused to allow those claims. And at the fourth time these claims were allowed. This fact raises certain questions. Nothing has changed in fact, but somehow the court changed the perspective on how these claims should be treated,” said Archbishop Yevstratiy (Zoria).
On September 4, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv issued the ruling to secure the claim in case No. 640/14586/19. Pursuant to this ruling, before making decision on the merits in the action of the “Kyiv Patriarchy of the UOC-KP” (i.e., Patriarch Filaret) against the Ministry of Culture in case of liquidation of the legal entity
