A temple dedicated to the Heavenly Hundred is planned to be built in Zhytomyr. It was reported by the press service of ‘Derzhava’ Civic Association.

The uniqueness of this project is that the future church will belong to three denominations. One temple will contain three churches with three entrances, one common yard and one common entrance area.

According to organizers, its mission is to unite Ukrainians of different denominations: Orthodox, Catholics, Protestants, around the key ideas of the present time: Ukraine's statehood, patriotism and unity of our people and to honor the memory of those who gave their lives for the happy future of our country.

The organizers initiated fundraising for the church construction among Zhytomyr residents, and at the national level as well.

To date the blessing of Patriarch Filaret of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine have been received, in addition, the initiators expect to get the blessing of Patriarch Sviatoslav, Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church”, Zaxid.net reports with reference to the Civil Association.
