In the occupied territories of Donetsk region, the "Supreme Court" of terrorists recognized the religious organization Jehovah's Witnesses to be extremist. It is reported by Depo.Donbass that cites a website controlled by the DPR.

“The panel of judges of the Supreme Court of the DPR, having considered in an open court hearing an administrative case on behalf of the Acting Attorney General of the Republic, decided to prohibit the activities of the religious association Jehovah's Witnesses on the territory of the DPR in connection with the extremist activities of this religious association,” goes the message.

It is noted that the “court decision”, which came into force after its proclamation on September 26, is final and cannot be appealed.

As reported, in 2017, the organization Jehovah's Witnesses was recognized as extremist in Russia. Its headquarters in St. Petersburg were closed, after which the faithful began to escape to Finland.
