“There were very many negative things in the pre-election period. I could see that people were afraid for their future and that of the country. In order to dispel that fear by the fear of God, I addressed the citizens before the voting, asking them to show courage and vote honestly and be active to let God act. For the Lord speaks to the society and the whole country through human conscience,” said the primate.
