The Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), Patriarch Sviatoslav (Shevchuk) in his address on TVi called on the observers and members of election committees not to be afraid to act according to the will of the conscience.

Святослав_Шевчук-вибори.jpgThe head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), Patriarch Sviatoslav (Shevchuk) in his address on TVi called on the observers and members of election committees not to be afraid to act according to the will of the conscience, reported the Information Department of UGCC.

“I would like to address those people who will be involved in the election process. I am sending to them the only message: 'Do not be afraid!' Do not be afraid of those who wants to put pressure on you, do not yield to the intimidation of those who will force you to do something, manipulate the votes or fix the results,” called the Primate. 

He stressed that people who will monitor the election process must not be afraid because the fairness of the election depends on them.
