Today, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv continued the consideration of the case of ex-Premier Yulia Tymoshenko who is accused of exceeding her authority at the time of signing of gas contracts with Russia in 2009.

Tumoshenko.gifToday, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv continued the consideration of the case of ex-Premier Yulia Tymoshenko who is accused of exceeding her authority at the time of signing of gas contracts with Russia in 2009.

According to Unian.net, the ex-premier is accompanied by her lawyers, her husband, Oleksandr Tymoshenko, and her daughter, Yevhenia Karr.

The session is also attended by a group of Ukrainian deputies.

Before the beginning of the session, the deputies passed to Yulia Tymoshenko a bouquet of flowers from the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate, Patriarch Filaret on the occasion of yesterday’s Orthodox feast of Medovyi Spas. In response, Tymoshenko said: “Thank you, everyone for being here at this difficult moment.”
