Court Prohibits Construction of Residential Houses Near Sophia of Kyiv

The Economic Court of Kyiv prohibited the construction of a dwelling complex at Honchara Street near the National Reserve Sophia of Kyiv, Korrespondent reported with reference to the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

According to the press service, last Saturday, Mayor of Kyiv Oleksandr Popov and three state executing officers visited the site. No official representative of the building organization was present at the site, the fact of which was recorded in an act drawn up by the executing officers.

The documents with regard to the prohibition will be sent to the builder and he will be obliged to stop any activity at the site. Popov noted that if the decision of the court is ignored, the violator will be called to account.
