Kyivan Patriarchate Believers Against Passing Churches to Moscow Patriarchate

VINNYTSIA – Over 100 representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate (UOC-KP) picketed the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration protesting the transfer of churches to the Moscow Patriarchate.

According to UNIAN, in addition to the representatives of the UOC-KP, the picket was attended by the adherents of the all-Ukrainian association "Svoboda" and the People’s Movement.

 “With the election of the new president, in an effort to please the new authorities, Dombrovskyi and Zabolotnyi (head of the Regional State Administration and head of the Regional Council), in violation of the laws of Ukraine, register parishes of the Moscow Patriarchate in the place of existing Kyiv Patriarchate parishes,” says the address.
