A 13-year-old Hasidim wounded as a result of blast in Uman

This is reported on the website of the National Police, according to LB.ua.

“Today, on September 21, around 06:00, Uman’s police station received a message that in garages close to the mass residence of the Hasidim pilgrims an unidentified item exploded, and the police officers were immediately alarmed,” the statement says.

The police have found that the roof of one of the garages was damaged by the explosion of an unknown object.

The teenager got bodily injuries in the form of a cut of his left hand on the brush. He was given medical assistance on the spot. In Uman, on the instructions of the head of the National Police, Serhiy Knyazev, the first deputy head of the National Police Vyacheslav Abroshin and deputy head of the National Olympic Committee, Alexander Fatsevich arrived to the scene. Investigative-operational group and bomb technicians worked on the site.

Law enforcers are finding out the circumstances of the explosion and those involved in it. The opening criminal proceedings is being sdecided on.

As reported, more than 30 thousand Hasidic pilgrims came to Ukraine, who annually celebrate the New Year's Era of Rosh Hashanah in Uman. In this regard, Israel sent a police detachment to Uman.
