Intercession Readings Begin in Kyiv

In the assembly hall of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, on October 23, the Fifth Intercession International Missionary and Educational Readings began.

This year, the readings are held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the ministry of Metropolitan Volodymyr as head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Synod’s Department of Religious Education, Catechization and Missionary Ministry. They are attended by approximately 800 participants from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, France and Poland, reported Orthodoxy in Ukraine.
