10,000 UAH Raised in Kolomyia-Chernivtsi Eparchy For Easter Basket For Needy

An auction Easter in Every Home was held in the press center of the Kolomyia-Chernivtsi Eparchy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) as part of the campaign Easter Basket organized annually by the charitable organization Caritas of the Kolomyia-Chernivtsi Eparchy. Leather products, Easter postcards, painted Easter eggs made by children were the lots at the auction.

The auction was attended by representatives of the authorities, clergy and entrepreneurs. “We must together help people in need to celebrate Easter in a fitting way. It is our sacred duty,” commented Bishop Mykola (Simkailo).

The auction allowed the participants to gather 10 thousand UAH for the needy. So reported the Information Department of UGCC.
