“Communion” Action Dedicated to the 80th Holodomor Anniversary on November 22-23

The All-Ukrainian Youth Public Organization Society of Ukrainian Youth! (SUM) appeals to all interested people to join its "Communion" action and by means of prayer, fasting and good deeds to commemorate those who innocently perished during the famine of 1932-1933.

"We recollect the tragic famine of 1932-1933 and its instigators, but we are not capable of imagining all the horror dealt with face-to-face by an average Ukrainian when his hut was swept of every single piece of grain, when his village was encircled by armed guards, when his children asked him for food... In order to comprehend it, one has to go through it or at least try to do this. And this is one of the "Communion" action objectives intended to commemorate the Holodomor victims by way of fasting, prayer and a good deed," the SUM members put in their address.
