After all, our predecessors, emigrants, prayed for the freedom of their Church and people, as well as they brought their patience, difficulties, experiences, gain strength and strengthened hope for God's help.

And today we are privileged to congratulate the Head and Father of our Church - His Beatitude Svyatoslav,” appealed to the guests and pilgrims Sister Sofia Lebedovich, General Superior of the Congregation of Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Virgin Mary.

His Beatitude Sviatoslav said in his sermon that the true treasure for a human being is faith in God, for it is “an eternal treasure, a real wealth that nothing can destroy.”

“Now the Ukrainian people are bursting with blood and defending the independence of their State, it shows the world that there are certain values ​​for which it is worthwhile to give up their lives – this is faith in God and freedom,” said the head of the UGCC.
