In particular, they discussed in detail the following areas: catechization, liturgical life of the UGCC, social service / diakonia, youth ministry, formation of the laity and the clergy and consecrated persons. The Working Group identified positive trends and difficulties that often occur during the practical implementation of these areas in the life of the Church at various levels, both diocesan and parish ones.

Bishop Bohdan (Dziurakh), Administrator of the Patriarchal Curia and Deputy Head of the Working Group, pointed out that every parish should have its own library, which would include all supporting materials for revitalization of parish life. By issuing books, our church is trying to give answers on topical issues, challenges in society.

Kenneth (Nowakowski), Bishop of New Westminster and head of the Working Group spoke about coordinators and their important role in the implementation of the Strategy, emphasizing the need for constant contact with them. The bishop noted, in particular, the tasks of coordinators who were called to not only disseminate information at different levels and in different ways, but to help pastors become active and responsible participants of implementation of the Church Development Strategy 2020. It was reported by the Information Department of the UGCC.
