In November Christian Leaders from Eastern Europe to Gather at Forum in Kyiv

The Eastern European Leadership Forum is an annual international event. The forum is an initiative of various churches and Christian ministries from Eastern Europe. This year's event will be held November 13-16 in the capital of Ukraine.

The Eastern European Leadership Forum is an annual international event. The forum is an initiative of various churches and Christian ministries from Eastern Europe. This year's event will be held November 13-16 in the capital of Ukraine.

The forum's goal is to encourage participants to spread biblical values ​​in all areas of society.

The forum will bring together more than 70 speakers from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Lithuania, the UK, and the USA. The objectives and the challenges faced by the church today will be presented at the workshops on various areas of Christian activity. Among the topics: “Apologetics,” “Evangelism,” “Art,” “Media and Communication,” “Missions and Opening Churches,” “Education,” “Family Service,” “Students and Young Professionals,” “Church Leadership,” and “Church and Civil Society.”

According to the organizers, during the forum the coordinators of the sessions and speakers will share their years of experience and successful projects with participants, and together with them will seek biblical standards for each specific area of service and ways to implement them. Workshops, discussions, and roundtables will allow the participants to be actively involved in developing strategies and initiate joint projects in the future.

In the section “Church Leadership,” Anatoliy Kozachock, pastor of Philadelphia Church and Serhiy Tsvora, Bishop of the United Pentecostal Church in Belarus, as well as others, will speak about their pastoral ministry experiences and the principles of creating a strong team in the local church. Oleh Honchar, head of the project “On the Verge” and top speakers of the section “Media and Communication” will present about the effective methods of working in the media. Glynn Harrison, Professor Emeritus of the University of Bristol, will lead seminars on spiritual counseling and mentoring. In the section “Family Ministry” the participants will consider ways to strengthen marriages, parenting, family law, child abandonment, and other issues.

“The Great Commission: ‘Go and make disciples of all nations’ is as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago. Decisions and challenges faced by the church in the modern world, encourage us, Christian leaders, to seek biblical standards for each area of society and effective ways of cooperation to expand the Kingdom of God,” said Antoniy Bokun, member of the organizing committee of the Eastern European Leadership Forum and coordinator of the workshop “The Church and Civil society.”
