Lviv Regional Authorities Support RISU Project On Sacral Objects

The Main Department on Matters of Internal Policy, Nationalities and Religions of the Lviv Regional State Administration supported RISU's idea to organize and hold a competition Our Sacral Ukraine to mark the 20th anniversary of independence of Ukraine.

An official letter signed by the head of the Main Department, Roman Kurash, and received by RISU on August 11 says that the department is prepared to distinguish the best work on the sacral monuments of Lviv Oblast.

The competition will be held from August 2 to October 31, 2011. The results will be announced by RISU after November 10, 2011.

The organizers invite journalists, regional experts, travelers, art critics and other persons, who are interested in the subject and are good at describing what they see, to participate.

To participate, one is to send one’s own regional materials (articles, photo reportages) presenting interesting sacral monuments, museum collections, religious history of populated and other areas, etc. One can send several materials.
